Social Media - How to Share Badge & Certification?

There are multiple ways to make sure others know of your accomplishment. Below are Twitter and LinkedIn instructions.

1. Post it to your LinkedIn feed.

2. Add it to your LinkedIn profile.

  

Post to your LinkedIn feed

  1. Log into LinkedIn, and click "start a post".

  2. Use the text provided within your certification completion page.
    Or, if you'd like to use your own words make sure you use the URL provided for the badge to show correctly in your post. We'd also love to have you tag us so we can congratulate you! @Informatica #InformaticaCertifiedProfessional #InformaticaUniversity

  3. Wait a moment after adding the text/URL for the preview to appear, and you will see the badge image populate automatically.

  4. Click the Post button to complete the posting.

     Note:  This also works in Facebook.

 

Add your certification to your LinkedIn profile:

  1. Go to your LinkedIn profile and select from the Add Profile Section menu, Background >> Licenses & Certifications

  2. Fill out the form including the
    • Name of the certification
    • Issuing Organization (Informatica)
    • Tick the box for This credential does not expire
      (Informatica certifications are product version specific. You will want to recertify regularly to stay up to date, but you will always be certified on this version.)
    • Issue Date
    • Credential ID
      (Leave blank. Informatica does not issue an ID for your certification. We track your certification by name, email, date certified)
    • Credential URL
      (Use the URL provided within the grey area of your certification completion page).

  3. Finished!

Please be aware that LinkedIn does not display your badge within your profile. Badge display is only available by creating a post on your LinkedIn feed. (see 1. Post it to your LinkedIn feed.).

 

Post to your Twitter feed:

  1. Download your badge.
  2. Log into Twitter, and start your post.
